Evil was a lesson Rick Georgiou learned early in life. Born into a family of dark witches, sorcerers, and necromancers, the horrors of his family's craft weren't all the young boy was subjected to as a child. The youngest of three children, with no apparent gifts of his own and no desire to learn spellcraft, he often served another purpose besides magic: his father's favorite punching bag.

When he was ten, his parents died in a confrontation with rival wizards. Local to Detroit, he entered the foster care system and was separated from his brothers, placed in custody with Felicia Callahan for nearly two years. Although she was kept busy with another new charge named Andrew, she made a place in her home for the wayward boy, and in her two children, Juliana and Cain, Rick found the closest thing he had ever known to family.

Along with a stable environment, Felicia also nurtured Rick's power. Revealing herself as a watcher, with a little help together they discovered that he was, in fact, blessed with the gift of necromancy and had some talent for spellcasting. At the age of twelve, she saw to it that he found placement with a family of white witches and wizards. After only a few months, the little boy eagerly agreed when the Argyros family expressed interest in adopting him. Under the care of his new parents, Rick's wounded spirit began to heal and as a result, his power began to develop. Though he never became powerful enough to do more than some spells and his necromancy never passed the level of mediumship, he learned to use his gifts safely and found comfort in the rituals of magick for the first time.

Although he remained a practicing Wiccan, Rick gave up the pursuit of true power early on. Growing up in the Argyros home, he developed into an outgoing, even aggressive personality. Remaining local to Detroit and staying close to the Callahan family, like personalities attracted as Rick and Cain became best friends. With encouragement from both his former foster family and his current one, he cultivated an interest in music that got him noticed and picked up by a local group called Flashing Glory. The group, who favored an eclectic sound that blended heavy metal with some dance, electronica, and even tribal flavors, developed a strong grass roots following that got them noticed by an American representative for an overseas label.

With his family's blessing, at the age of seventeen Rick took advantage of a serious opportunity and joined his bandmates in traveling to Japan, where Kabooki Records signed them to a two-record deal. Inspired by the country and their growing success, Flashing Glory, who by this time had shortened their name to simply Glory, began amassing a large amount of material that allowed them to fulfill their contract as well as produce two more albums on top of that within a five year period.

Currently, Glory is on hiatus back in the states while the group decompresses, gets their lives in order, and focuses on the goal of achieving mainstream success in the States. Now twenty two, Rick is back home in Detroit, where he's getting his education in order. Having taken some classes in Okinawa to finish out his senior year of high school, he still needs his GED and is currently weighing his options to continue his education stateside.
